Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Movie I - The Empty Battlefield / Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED Special Edition I: Kokuu no Senjou (2004)

TV Special / Movie - 1/1
Sub - VanA
The feature subtitled "The Empty Battlefield" is comprised of recut episodes of Gundam Seed (2002), with some bits of new animation--a practice that goes back to the original Gundam series (1979) and the first three features. This film includes material from the first 20 Seed episodes, or about one-third of the series.
In the year 71 of the Cosmic Era (rather than the "Gundam Saga" timeframe or the "Alternate Universe"), Kira Yamoto accidentally becomes a mecha pilot when he stumbles onto the top secret Strike Gundam during an attack on his home satellite-colony, Heliopolis. Although the war is technically between the Earth Alliance and ZAFT, it's really a conflict between the human "Naturals" and the genetically enhanced "Coordinators." The movie and the broadcast series offer the ingredients of a classic Gundam saga: a reluctant warrior, a masked enemy general, and an old friend who tests the hero's loyalty. Cutting the running time so substantially moves the action along a breakneck pace, but leaves little time for character development. Director Mitsuo Kukada uses CG to choreograph some very snazzy mecha battles, in space, within Heliopolis, and on Earth, often with a fine disregard for the laws of physics.
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Movie II - The Far-Away Dawn / Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED Special Edition II: Harukanaru Akatsuki (2004)

TV Special / Movie - 1/1
Sub - VanA
This is a recap with new footage from episodes 22 to 40.
Much like the Mobile Suit Gundam theatrical movies, the Gundam SEED Special Edition movies are intended to be an override of the story from the TV series.
These episodes are in fact a complete recap of all 50 episodes of the TV series and only shown on television in Japan. The Special Edition episodes feature some new scenes and tweaks to previously animated scenes. The first special, 'The Empty Battlefield', which was episodes 1 to 21 of the series, was aired in two parts on Japanese TV in March 2004, followed by the next special, 'The Distant Dawn', which was episodes 22 to 40, in July. The final special, 'The Rumbling Universe', which was episodes 41 to 50. While the story is overall unchanged, there are a few minor changes. In addition, several scenes are re-animated and re-dubbed.
It is believed that these movies were cut to better transition the story between SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny. Others believe also that the special editions were made to correct or add things that wasn't in the TV series from time or budget reasons. It's been mistakly referred to that this is in fact recapped episodes. While that might be the case, they're still movies in their own right.
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Movie III - The Rumbling Sky / Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED Special Edition III Kanketsu Hen: Meidou no Sora (2004)

TV Special / Movie - 1/1
Sub - VanA
The Earth Forces has commissioned another Archangel-class ship, the Dominion; its sole mission is to destroy the renegade Archangel. As the battle draws to its ultimate conclusion, it is possible that humanity itself will be the victim. Kira, Athrun, and the others must stop a war that threatens both sides with genocide!

Jyushin Enbu: Hero Tales / Hero Tales (2007)

TV Series - 13/??
Sub - Kuro-Hana, Kuroneko
Based on the manga by Arakawa Hiromu (of FMA fame) serialized on Shounen GanGan Powered.
<Story> (might contain slight spoilers)
A period piece, Jūshin Enbu features Taitou, a young man who hates the empire that rules at the time, with his sister Laila as they learn of a mysterious power Taitou holds, unbeknown st to him. Taitou is the incarnation of a mysterious star that grants him a huge amount of power that he has yet to fully master. Joining them is Ryuukou, who has power similar to Taitou, just more honed.
After Taitou's coming of age ceremony, which required him being beaten by Ryuukou, he is given the Kenkaranpu, described as a conqueror's sword, which Taitou is not even capable of drawing. Soon after, he and Laila are greeted by a man named Shimei, who wanted to take the sword. After a quick exchange of blows, Shimei explains the source of Taitou's power, the star Hagun, one of the most powerful Hokushin-Tenkun. When Shimei uses his own sword's power to cause Laila to stop breathing, Taitou becomes so angry he releases Hagun's power, draws Kenkaranpu and pins Shimei to the wall by throwing the sword through his stomach. He then turns to Ryuukou and attacks.
Despite his best efforts, Ryuukou could not overcome Hagun's power. It was only a resuscitated Laila's intervention (along with a nasty head butt) that brought Taitou to his senses. However, they all soon learn that Shimei had escaped with the sword.
At midnight, Taitou sneaks out to recover the sword. As he is leaving Ryuukou and Laila quickly join him on his journey.

SUb - DA-Subs, Doremi
This one-volume manga by Sakuraba Koharu portrays the fifth grade in a... different light. The chapters ran in Young Magazine, a relatively small publication, and were then released in volume form, when it gained some cult following.
What makes this manga particularly unique is not it's characters, which represent fairly run-of-the-mill manga personalities like those found in FLCL, Azumanga, and even Sister Princess--which should give you a pretty good idea of what does make this manga interesting: the perfect blend of school humor, plain ridiculousness, and raging sexual innuendo.
Ah, fifth grade like you wish you remembered it!
Sousei no Aquarion (2007)

OVA - 2/2
Sub - Makoto
Long ago, at time when Heaven and Earth were one, the world was filled with beauty and the Angels sang to the stars. However the only source of fear were those Angels that hunted humans. The humans raised the flag of rebellion and fought back, beginning the long war. In the midst of the war, Apollonius, a slaughtering Angel, met a girl named Celine and fell in love at first sight. Casting aside his wings, Apollonius joined Celine and the humans, and helped them create the mecha warriors that gave humanity a chance of winning the war. Angry at the loss of his 'love', the Angel Touma seduced and corrupted a human as revenge. And now some 12,000 years later, the battle is still raging. Legends tell of the dark betrayal that killed Apollonius, but they also speak of how he would return to finish the battle started so long ago.

Holy Genesis Era. Year 0011. Mankind has lost 2/3 of its population. The Great Catastrophe, which ruined the planet 11 years ago, caused the ice of Antarctica to melt.
In the Lost Atlantis, which was believed to be destroyed 12000 years ago, the winged race of Shadow Angels resurrected. They sent their bio-mechanical 'mythical beasts' to harvest the life energy
'Purana' of humans in the few remaining cities.
Humanity tries to hold off the onslought when the 'Godspeed Magician' Fudo Gen excavated in the sea near Crete the so-called vector machines, legendary machines which gave new hope. With these 3 new weapons, Mars, Luna and Sol, piloted by gifted pilots who posess the 'element' to activate them, the legendary 'Mechanical Angel Aquarion' can be united from the 3 'vectors'...
The 'elements' who needed to have pure souls and sharp senses, finally start off the fight and the time of uniting humanity's hopes into the legendary Aquarion has come.
